Deeds

(1) Metadata (basic data field) Search
Search Deeds by the basic data field (deed number, legal content, name of notaries and parties, type of property, name of qadi (judge)). You can also search the deeds (called Naṣṣes) which were copied with the qadi's authorisation.

(2) Arabic Text Search
Enter an Arabic word in the search field and click the Search button to search the Arabic edited texts of the vellum documents. Search results will display deeds and naṣṣes containing the search word, and you can view their metadata (basic data) and Arabic text. On the Arabic text viewing, the search word is highlighted in yellow.
